Hey, Alex here!
I'm glad you reached this far. Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I'm a Product Designer weaving together simplicity, passion, with a little bit of humor in everything I make (my last name, Takács, literally means weaver).

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of turning ideas into intuitive, user-friendly products across industries like E-commerce, EdTech, and even Telecommunications. Each milestone taught me something new, fueling my drive to build products that make people’s lives easier.

To me, design is about solving real problems and not following another trend every two months. Good design is usable, not fancy. Even though I don't follow every trend, I'm keeping myself up to date. Analyzing these trends, trying out new design tools, and having meaningful conversations with my good old friend ChatGPT are just some of the things I do to keep my skills sharp, like my Wüsthoff chef's knife.

When I’m not buried in Auto Layouts and Variants, I usually experiment with sous-vide recipes, unwind with a good video game, or hang around with my dog, Jackson. I believe these personal passions keep my perspective fresh and help me stay inspired.
Way of working
I believe skills can be taught, but mindset and habits are what truly shape how someone approaches design and collaboration. If you're considering working with me or bringing me onto your team, here’s a bit about what you can expect from me day to day.
My approach is built around three core principles:
Openness
Great ideas can come from anywhere.
I value honest conversations with different perspectives, if the goal is common.
Flexibility
Creativity doesn’t always follow a 9-to-5 schedule. I believe in finding a rhythm that balances deep work, collaboration, and freedom.
Productivity
Effective solutions over simply staying busy. I'm all about making progress, not just clocking hours simply for the sake of it.
Proficiency
Now that you have some understanding about my approach, here are the hard skills I have in my arsenal, that could bring your project to life.
